A shirt is not merchandise. It is the most worn graphic design object on the planet. It carries a city, a history, a family, a flag.
So we do not print merch. We research identity, then design it from nothing. No templates, no patches, no shortcuts. Colour and meaning fused into the fabric, edge to edge.
We make shirts for the stands, the street, and everywhere football quietly runs through a life.
Because for some of us it was never just a game. It was always more than ninety minutes.
ALIS was started by Alexandru Istratuca, a Romanian designer based in London, who has been designing football kits professionally since 2017.
He designed the FC Botoșani 2018/19 season kits, commissioned directly by the club. The selected design was manufactured by Erreà and worn by the first team in Liga 1. Before that, he worked as a kit designer for French sportswear brand Qelemes, designing kits worn by clubs across Africa and Europe.
ALIS is what that experience built. A shirt designed for the identity it carries.
All ALIS shirts are made to order. Because each item is manufactured specifically for you, it cannot be returned under UK consumer law for reasons of change of mind or incorrect size selection. This is in line with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which exempt made-to-order and personalised goods from the standard 14-day cooling-off period.
If your shirt arrives with a manufacturing fault, significant print misalignment, or damage, you are entitled to a remedy under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Contact us within 14 days of receiving your order with the following:

Please check the size guide on each product page carefully before ordering. Because all shirts are made to order, we cannot accept returns due to sizing errors. If you are unsure about sizing, email us before placing your order and we will help.

Each shirt is handmade to order and typically takes 1–3 business days to produce before dispatch. In rare cases, if an item needs to be reprinted, this may take an additional 1–2 days.

Delivery is usually handled by Royal Mail, DHL, or FedEx depending on destination and parcel routing. Customs duties and import taxes may apply depending on your country; these are outside our control and are the responsibility of the customer.
You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

All shirts are made to order and sales are final except in the case of manufacturing faults, as described in our Returns & Refunds policy.
Prices are shown in GBP. We reserve the right to cancel any order and issue a full refund if a product becomes unavailable or if there is a pricing error on the site.

When you browse the site, we save your bag and wishlist choices in your browser so the shop works properly. If you sign in with Google, we use Supabase Auth to create and manage your account session using your Google profile ID, name, email address, and profile picture.
If you use the profile page, we may save the details you choose to add, including your name, phone number, delivery address, city, postcode, country, order references, and My Story fields such as where you are from, where you live, the club you support, and the country you represent.
When you place an order, we collect the information needed to process and fulfil it, including your name, email address, phone number, billing details, delivery address, selected products, sizes, product options, and delivery region.
If you submit a product review, we collect your rating, written review, display name, review photos if you upload them, product reviewed, account email, and verified-purchase status.
Your data is used to run the shop, save account bag, wishlist, profile, order-tracking, and collection-archive choices, process payments, fulfil orders, provide delivery updates, verify purchases for customer reviews, moderate reviews, respond to customer enquiries, prevent fraud, and meet legal or tax obligations. We do not use your data for marketing unless you have clearly agreed to it.
If you opt in to marketing emails, we store that consent and sync it with Klaviyo so ALIS updates can be managed and sent properly. You can unsubscribe at any time through the unsubscribe page or any marketing email.
When you sign in, add items to your bag, start checkout, or place an order, relevant customer and order events may be sent to Klaviyo so we can run service messages, abandoned checkout reminders where allowed, and opted-in marketing flows.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on our servers. Stripe may process payment, billing, fraud prevention, and checkout information under its own privacy terms.
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only where needed to operate the site and fulfil your order, including with Google and Supabase for account sign-in and review features, Stripe for checkout and payment processing, Contrado for production and fulfilment, delivery carriers for shipping, Klaviyo for opted-in marketing and customer event automation, and our hosting/service providers for running the website.
Your bag, wishlist, profile details, My Story details, order references, and collection-archive information may be stored locally in your browser. If you sign in, those details may also be saved to your account so they can be restored later. Order details may be retained where needed for customer service, fulfilment, accounting, legal, fraud prevention, and verified-purchase review checks. Approved reviews and review photos may remain visible on product pages unless removed or anonymised after a valid request.

We currently send Klaviyo customer and order events from our server after actions such as adding to bag, starting checkout, opting in to marketing, unsubscribing, or placing an order.
